    Tools, utilities, technical and decorative material
 
    The chapter is divided into four parts, tools, utilities, technical and decorative material and last but not least important are the containers.
 
    The tools
are essential component of the florist’s equipment. The chapter covers a list of the necessary work tools going from floristry scissors to tweezers.
 
    Utilities are closely tied to every floristry work. The utility tools help the florist to finalize the composition. Here are also stated all the utilities needed in this chapter – wires, strings, glues, fixation materials, waxes and pins.
 
Technical and decorative material

 
    This chapter explains the difference between the technical and decorative material. We will find out that the decorative material can have the function of the technical material and the technical material can have the function of the decorative one, but we have to adhere to some rules.
 
    The chapter introduces a range of materials, which supplement every floristry work. For example green, gray or colored arrangement material, colored sands, beads, wooden supplies, bast etc.
 
    Last subchapter talks about containers. Container is an important element of an arrangement and often influences its character. You will find out which characteristics should the container have – stability, water-resistance, cleanliness etc. You can also find here plastic, glass, ceramic, metal, wooden and other containers.
